        Jiangsu Province has been always been one of the most important manufacturing bases in the world. The Provincial Government is also vigorously developing modern logistics to sustain the province’s competitiveness. Import and export of Jiangsu Province amounted USD28.4 billion with a growth rate of 26.4% and was the second highest province in China.
        Nanjing is the provincial capital as well as a key industrial center. Nanjing’s electronics industry and chemical industry is the second highest among other cities, automotive manufacturing is the third highest, and machinery manufacturing industry, warehousing industry, shelving industry also ranks high in the country. Besides, home electrical industry, building materials industry, etc. is also very strong. For transport, Nanjing is the transportation and communication hub of the Eastern China region. She is well equipped with a comprehensive and far-reaching transportation network consisting of railways, road, water transportation, air transportation and pipeline. Five logistics bases, including Longtan, Wangjiawan-Dingjiazhuang, Lukou airport, Muyan metal materials and Jiangbei chemicals have further speeded up the logistics development of the Province.
